Actor Vidyut Jammwal has launched his own production banner. Titled Action Hero Films, the company has Abbas Sayyed on board as co-producer. The announcement was made to commemorate Vidyut’s tenth year in the industry. The actor had made his debut in Nishikant Kamat’s Force in 2011.

Action Hero Films will strive to make ‘quality Indian cinema that has aspirational value’ and foray ‘into as many diverse genres as possible’, said a statement.

Vidyut views this as an opportunity to give back to audiences and empower new talent. “I'm buzzing with new energy to lay the footprints of Action Hero Films across world cinema,” the actor said. “A big thanks to all the Jammwalions for standing by me. This is their milestone as much as it's mine.”

Vidyut’s upcoming films include Khuda Haafiz Chapter II (produced by Panorama Studios) and Vipul Amrutlal Shah's Sanak.
