Telugu actor Allu Arjun has shared his sympathy over the demise of legendary actor and comedian Vivekh. The Ala Vaikunthapuramuloo-actor took to Twiter to write, "Really saddened to hear about the demise of Vivekh garu. One of my favourite artists in comedy. Entertained us for years with an underlying social msg in his comedy tracks. A priceless gem for Tamil cinema. Condolences to his family, near & dear. Rest in Peace Sir."

Although Vivekh hasn't acted in Telugu films, the dubbed versions of popular Tamil films, such as Boys, Anniyan, Chellamae, Sivaji, Singam, and Velaiilla Pattadhari, made him a known face among Telugu-speaking audience.

Vivekh, a veteran of over 200 films, was admitted to the hospital on Friday following a cardiac arrest. The actor underwent angioplasty surgery at the hospital and was on ECMO in the ICU. The actor passed away in the wee hours of Saturday due to cardiac-related complications.
