Actor Vikram has shared his grief over the death of veteran actor and comedian Vivekh. In an official statement, Vikram said, "The news about the demise of Vivek, a great artist and a very dear friend, has left me in shock. His death is a huge loss to me, Tamil cinema, and the entire world. My deepest condolences to his family and friends."

Vivekh has acted alongside Vikram in several popular films including Saamy, Dhil, Dhool, and Anniyan, all of which have played a role in cementing Vikram's foothold in Tamil cinema.

Vivekh, a veteran comedian, was admitted to the hospital on Friday following a cardiac arrest. The actor underwent angioplasty surgery at the hospital and was on ECMO in the ICU. He passed away earlier today due to cardiac-related complications.
