Veteran comedian Senthil, while expressing his grief over the death of his fellow actor and comedian Vivekh, said that the late actor will live in the hearts of the people as long as cinema exists.

In a statement, Senthil said, "My dear brother, Chinna Kalaivaanar Vivekh's death is deeply saddening. I have acted in many films with Vivekh. He is an extremely talented artist and an affectionate human."

He added that Vivekh, who was known for planting lakhs of trees, will live as long as nature lives.

Vivekh had launched a mission called Green Globe Project with an aim to plant one crore trees in Tamil Nadu. Since the launch of the project, Vivekh had plated over 33 lakh tree saplings.

Vivekh, a veteran of over 200 films, was admitted to the hospital on Friday following a cardiac arrest. The actor underwent angioplasty surgery at the hospital and was on ECMO in the ICU. He passed away earlier today due to cardiac-related complications.
