Expressing his grief over the demise of veteran actor and comedian Vivekh, actor Sathyaraj stated that he is one amongst the crores of brothers and fans who are grieving the loss.

"He made us laugh and think. And my dear brother, Chinna Kalaivaanar Vivekh... it hurts to even use the word 'demise'. I express my deepest condolences. I don't think words alone can comfort his family, friends, fans, the world of cinema, and me," he added.

The late actor had worked with Sathyraj in numerous films including Vanakkam Thalaiva, Asathal and Looty.

Vivekh, a veteran of over 200 films, was admitted to the hospital on Friday following a cardiac arrest. The actor underwent angioplasty surgery at the hospital and was on ECMO in the ICU. He passed away earlier today due to cardiac-related complications.
