Veteran composer Ilaiyaraaja has shared, in a video message, that the sudden demise of actor Vivekh has deeply scarred him. "I have been mourning the loss of Vivekh since morning. I am unable to overcome it and this is the reason why I didn't release any statements till now," he said

He added that the death of Vivekh feels very personal to him because of the admiration the actor had for him. "Vivekh was my ardent fan since his days as a student in American College. After he entered films, he became one of my well-wishers and finally a disciple."

Ilaiyaraaja revealed that Vivekh kept updating him about his philanthropic ventures and took advice from him.

"I don't think I can find the love and respect Vivekh gave me, in any other fan," the composer said.

He signed off saying that his prayers are with the family of the actor and he hopes they overcome their grief soon with the grace of God.
