The teaser of Mohanlal's next Aarattu was released earlier today. The teaser hints at an explosive action story set in a rural backdrop.

Directed by B Unnikrishnan, the film also stars Shraddha Srinath. Aaraattu is written by Udayakrishna, and has music by Rahul Raj. With Vijay Ulaganath taking care of the cinematography, Shammeer Muhammed is onboard as the editor.

Interestingly, the film will also see a cameo appearance by Oscar-winning music director AR Rahman. The film will mark the first collaboration of the musician with Mohanlal after Yodha (1992). 

Aarattu has an ensemble cast that includes Nedumudi Venu, Sai Kumar, Siddique, Vijayaraghavan, Indrans, Johny Antony, Sheela, Rachana Narayanankutty, and Swasika.
