Actor Anjali, who awaits the release of Vakeel Saab tomorrow, has tested positive for Covid-19. She is the second actor from the film unit to have contracted the virus after Nivetha Thomas tested positive earlier this week, ahead of the pre-release event of the Pawan Kalyan-starrer.

When contacted, a source close to the actor said, "It's true that Anjali has been infected by Covid-19. She has isolated herself and is under home quarantine from yesterday. She is taking the medication prescribed by her doctor and is recovering well."

Directed by Sriram Venu, Vakeel Saab is the Telugu remake of the Hindi courtroom drama Pink. The film also features Ananya Nagalla and Shruti Hassan in pivotal roles. Produced by Dil Raju, the film is slated for release tomorrow, with the USA premieres starting later tonight.
