Actor Ajith, who cast his vote in Thiruvanmaiyur, along with his wife, earlier today, snatched the phone of a person who invaded his privacy and tried to take a selfie with him. The visuals of the star losing his cool has shocked a section of the audience as he is generally known for his calm demeanour.

But a wide section of people defended Ajith's impulsive reaction, highlighting the fact that phones are not allowed inside the polling booth and the person involved in this event was unmasked. Netizens have also started sharing recent pictures of the actor where he posed calmly with his fans and admirers.

Ajith later returned the phone to its owner and apologised.

On the work front, Ajith has H Vinoth's Valimai, co-starring Huma Qureshi and Karhtikeya, in the pipeline. The first look of the film will be released on the actor's birthday, May 1.
