Actor Jayam Ravi, who was recently seen in Bhoomi, will star in writer Antony Bhagyaraj's directorial debut. Tentatively called JR29, the film will be bankrolled by Home Movie Makers, which previously produced Ravi's Bhoomi and Adanga Maru.
According to sources, the film is expected to go on floors around July-August this year based on lockdown restrictions.
Antony has previously served as the co-writer for films like Irumbu Thirai and Viswasam. He has teamed up once again with director Siva for Rajinikanth's Annaatthe.
Aside from this upcoming project, Jayam Ravi has films like Ahmed's Jana Gana Mana and Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan in different stages of production.
