Govinda is the latest Bollywood actor to test positive for COVID-19. The  Coolie No. 1-actor confirmed the news and requested everyone who came in contact with him to get tested.

Govinda, who is currently under home quarantine, said in a statement to IANS, "I have been testing myself and taking all the necessary precautions to keep the coronavirus away. However, I tested positive today following mild symptoms. All others at home have tested negative. Sunita (wife) has just recovered from Covid-19 a couple of weeks back."

The news comes hours after his Bhagam Bhag co-star Akshay Kumar announced that he has tested positive.

Other Bollywood celebrities who recently tested positive for COVID-19 include Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhat, Kartik Aaryan, and Bappi Lahari.
