Mumbaikar poster out: Vijay Sethupathi, Vikrant Massey loom large in Santosh Sivan’s next

The first look of Vijay Sethupathi’s Hindi debut, Mumbaikar, has been released. Directed by Santosh Sivan, the film is a remake of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s 2017 Tamil action thriller, Maanagaram. The Hindi version also stars Vikrant Massey, Tanya Maniktala, Sanjay Mishra, Ranvir Shorey and Sachin Khedekar.

The poster features several characters from the film’s hyperlink plot.

It was earlier reported that Vijay Sethupathi will play Munishkanth’s role in the Hindi remake.

The actor is also expected to star in Sriram Raghavan’s next alongside Katrina Kaif.

Santosh Sivan’s last Hindi directorial was Tahaan (2008). He also served as the cinematographer on Rangrezz (2013).

Mumbaikar will feature music by Prashant Pillai. The film is being shot by Santosh himself.
