The reunion special of the famous sitcom Friends is all set to go on floors. Shooting of this special, which was delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, will commence next week in Los Angeles.

Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry will be back for this special, directed by Ben Winston. The actors will also serve as the executive producers alongside series creators Kevin Bright, Marta Kauffman and David Crane.

The special will be shot at Stage 24 at Warner Bros Studios, where the series wrapped its 10-season run in 2004.

During a recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Schwimmer had stated that the special is not scripted and they will not necessarily be in character.

Friends aired from September 22, 1994, to May 6, 2004, lasting ten seasons. Over the years, the series gathered a cult following and was also nominated for 62 Primetime Emmy Awards, winning the Outstanding Comedy Series award in 2002.
