Sharing a still of Rajini from his 2016 film Kabali, Mammootty wished the actor by referring to the characters they played in the first and only collaboration - the 1991 Mani Ratnam film Thalapathi. The Malayalam actor tweeted, "Congratulations Surya for the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. With love, Deva."
