Actor Bhupesh Kumar Pandya, known for his appearances in Vicky Donor, Hazaaron Khwahishen Aisi and Delhi Crime, passed away today. He was reportedly suffering from stage 4 lung cancer.

The news of his demise was shared by the National School of Drama on Twitter. “Famous artiste Bhupesh Kumar Pandya’s (alumnus NSD 2001 batch) death is extremely sad. The NSD family pays tribute. May God grant his soul peace,” the institute tweeted in Hindi. 

Earlier, actor Manoj Bajpayee had shared a plea to raise funds for Bhupesh’s treatment. Actor Gajraj Rao and Guneet Monga’s production house Sikhya Entertainment had donated to the website, a report states. 

Sharing his condolences, Manoj tweeted, “May God grant peace to his soul.” Gajraj Rao also responded to the NSD tweet with folded hands.
