It looks like director Desingh Periyasamy, who shot to fame with his debut Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithal, might be teaming up with Sivakarthikeyan for an upcoming project. 

Starring Dulquer Salman, Ritu Varma, Rakshan and Niranjani Ahathiyan, Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithal, released earlier this year, was successful at the box office and garnered positive reviews. 

According to reports, Sivakarthikeyan liked Desingh's debut and if things go well, the duo might team up for a project soon. An official confirmation is awaited.

Sivakarthikeyan is currently working on Doctor, which is helmed by Kolamaavu Kokila-fame Nelson Dilipkumar. The actor has Ayalaan, directed by Ravikumar (Indru Netru Naalai), in the pipeline. Sivakarthikeyan has reportedly also signed a new project backed by Lyca productions, which will be helmed by a newcomer.
