Kat Coiro to direct Marvel’s She-Hulk series for Disney+

Director Kat Coiro is in talks to direct and executive produce a few episodes, including the pilot, of Marvel's She-Hulk series for Disney+. While the cast has not been decided yet, the writing will be helmed by Rick and Morty writer Jessica Gao.

She-Hulk is Jennifer Walters, cousin of Bruce Banner. She acquires Hulk's powers after an emergency blood transfusion from Banner. However, Walters will be able to retain her personality even when she is in Hulk mode. It is still uncertain when the series will go into production.

Meanwhile, Coiro is awaiting the release of her next film Marry Me, starring Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson and John Bradley. The film is set for release on Valentine's Day next year. Some of her other popular credits include ShamelessIt’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Dead to Me, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
