Actor-journalist Florent C Pereira dies in Chennai due to COVID-19

Tamil actor Florent C Pereira, who was known for playing character roles in films like Kayal and Thodari, died due to Covid-19 in Chennai on September 14 around 10 pm. According to reports, Florent tested positive for coronavirus a couple of weeks ago and had been hospitalised ever since. His health deteriorated last week and he succumbed to illness. He was 67.

Florent C Pereira, who had worked with Win TV, Kalaignar TV and Vijay TV, had attended a film shoot, and he also bought clothes and accessories for his character. Later, he fell sick and underwent a COVID-19 test. The following day, he tested positive.

Unfortunately, even after his admission to the hospital, Florent Pereira's health showed no improvement, and he breathed his last breath yesterday. 

Condolences have been pouring in from both the film industry and media.
