Significant improvement in SP Balasubrahmanyam's health, says son Charan

SP Balasubrahmanyam was admitted to a Chennai hospital on August 5 after testing positive for COVID-19

SP Balasubrahmanyam, who was admitted to a Chennai hospital for coronavirus treatment, is getting better, according to a new video announcement from the singer's son SP Charan. 

Charan, in his video message, revealed that his father shows significant improvement. According to Charan, the X-ray and other reports have shown good healing in the singer's lungs.

"Dad was able to sit for about 20 minutes. He has also become an active participant in the physiotherapy treatement. The doctors are going to start oral feeding. Dad is continuing to be stable and the improvements continues," said Charan. 

The singer, who was admitted in hospital on August 5, was later put on life support on August 14 when his condition worsened after a bout of pneumonia. However, he later showed major improvements in addition to testing negative for coronavirus.
