Actor and dubbing artiste Prabheesh Chakkalakkal passes away

Malayalam actor and dubbing artiste Prabheesh Chakkalakkal passed away earlier today while shooting for a telefilm in Kochi. He was 44.

Prabheesh was enacting a role in a telefilm on waste management for the YouTube channel Cochin Collage when he collapsed. As per reports, there was a delay in finding an ambulance, and when co-workers finally managed to get him to a hospital, he was declared dead on arrival.

An employee of JSW Cement, Prabheesh has been part of several telefilms. He most recently essayed Mahabali in an Onam special for the same YouTube channel. He has also lent his voice for some Malayalam films, most recently for the antagonist in Abrid Shine's Kung Fu Master.

He is survived by his wife Jansy, daughter Taniya, and father Chakkalakkal CP Joseph.
