Actor Dame Enid Diana Elizabeth Rigg known for her roles in films like A Midsummer Night's Dream and On Her Majesty's Secret Service has passed away at the age of 82. “She died peacefully early this morning. She was at home with her family, who have asked for privacy at this difficult time,” her agent said to the BBC.

Rigg had played the role of a Bond girl named Tracy in On Her Majesty's Secret Service, and holds the distinction of being the only Mrs James Bond character till date. As someone who had been in the industry from the early 60s, she became a familiar face even to millennials as the ambitious and witty queen Olenna Tyrell in the hit series Game of Thrones

Rigg's final series is the upcoming drama Black Narcissus. On the big screen, the veteran's posthumous appearance will be in Edgar Wright's psychological horror film, Last Night in Soho.
