Had to reject a film as it had Kangana Ranaut as the lead .Deep down i felt uneasy and explained my stand to the makers and they were understanding. Some times its only abt what feels right . Wishing them all the best.
This announcement of Sreeram's has been receiving a mixed reaction online. While a section of people are supportive of his stand, Kangana's fans are condemning his decision.
In a response to the veteran's statement, Kangana took to Twitter to express her disappoinment. The actor wrote, "I missed the opportunity to work with a legend like you sir, it’s entirely my loss. I don’t know what exactly made you uneasy about me but I am glad you took the right call. Wish you all the best." PC Sreeram in response said, "Much appreciated."
Sreeram was one of the cinematographers of Kangana’s Tamil debut, Dhaam Dhoom.
Kangana has been making headlines for her statements post the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput. She recently alleged that many stars in the film industry are into drug abuse.
On the work front, the actor will next be seen playing late Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa in the multilingual biopic Thalaivi, directed by Vijay.
