Actor Ragini Dwivedi was arrested by Central Crime Branch (CCB) police, Bengaluru, in connection with a drug case. After the arrest of Ragini's alleged friend, Ravi Shankar, she was detained by the CCB earlier today, who also conducted a search in the residence of the Kannada film star.

The actor was detained by CCB after over four hours of searching in her house. During the search, officials seized her mobile phones, laptops and other valuables. The officials confirmed her arrest in a press meet held by the city police commissioner. 

The police produced her before the magistrate, who allowed her to be taken into custody for further investigation. A few other actors are likely to be detained based on her statement during the investigation.

The prime accused of this case, Viren Khanna, was also arrested, and he is reported to be the one who organised these big parties where drugs were consumed. Khanna was arrested from Delhi after two teams from CCB went to the capital, and he has been taken into police custody for four days.
