Vidya Balan has lauded Lakshmi Manchu’s tweet on the media trial of Rhea Chakraborty. The Shakuntala Devi actor wrote that it’s unfortunate that the tragedy of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has become a ‘media circus’. She said that her ‘heart breaks at the vilification of Rhea Chakraborty’ and demanded the law take its course. 

Several celebrities have condemned the mainstream coverage of the ongoing investigation. Besides Lakshmi, Bollywood actors like Swara Bhasker and Taapsee Pannu have also supported Rhea and slammed the media trial around the case.
