Actor Shariq Hassan, who rose to fame thanks to Bigg Boss Tamil, has signed a web series titled Kaalam Neram Kadhal. Directed by Mohan Dhandayudhapani, the series stars Sreenidhi Sudharshan as the female lead. 

“Kaalam Neram Kadhal is a cute story revolving around two friends – Ron and Sherin, played by Shariq and Sreenidhi. Situations cause the two of them to stay at Sherin's house. What was initially supposed to be a short-term stay stretches out because of the lockdown. This situation intensifies their relationship as they plunge deep into their feelings for a better understanding of each other. Will Ron and Sherin express their love for each other or stick to the friend zone forms the rest of the series,” says director Mohan. 

The series will have five episodes, each 12-15 minutes in length. Produced by Malhar of Luxe Entertainment, Kaalam Neram Kadhal will have cinematography by Thomas Edison and music by Deekay.
