CE Features

Producer Dhananjayan has brought the remake rights for the Bengali thriller Vinci Da. The Tamil remake has a screenplay penned by Dhananjayan and director Ram, with dialogues written by the Taramani filmmaker.

Reports suggest that Dhananjayan and Ram collaborated during the lockdown and have completed the script for the Tamil remake. However, the director and cast for the film are yet to be unveiled.

Vinci Da hit the screens in 2019. Starring Rudranil Ghosh, Ritwick Chakraborty, Anirban Bhattacharya, Riddhi Sen, Gautam Moitra and Sohini Sarkar, the film follows the life of a make-up artist whose life dramatically changes after he befriends a psychopath.

Ram's last directorial was Peranbu, starring Mammootty, Anjali and Sadhana in leading roles. Dhananjayan, on the other hand, is awaiting the release of Sibiraj’s Kabadadaari, the Tamil remake of the Kannada hit Kavaludaari.
