Eros International’s multilingual adventure Haathi Mere Saathi will be released in theatres on Pongal/Makar Sankranti 2021, the makers announced today. Directed by Prabhu Solomon, the film stars Rana Daggubati, Pulkit Samrat and others. It was shot simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The Tamil and Telugu versions are titled Kaadan and Aranya, with Vishnu Vishal essaying the role of a mahout in both.

All three versions star Shreya Pilgaonkar and Zoya Hussain as the female leads. The adventure epic was slated for release on April 2 this year. It was postponed due to the pandemic.

Rana Daggubati had made his Hindi debut in Dum Maaro Dum (2011). He essayed the antagonist Bhallaldeva in the blockbuster Baahubaali. The film’s second part, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, became the highest-grossing film of India.
