Bobby Simha's next to be directed by Vikram Rajeshwar

Navein Darshan

Bobby Simha will be joining hands with ad filmmaker Vikram Rajeshwar in the latter's feature directorial debut. The film is said to be a gangster drama and it has been written by Vikram's father and senior filmmaker Rajeshwar, known for helming films like Amaran and penning projects like Vetri Vizha and Seevalapperi Pandi.

Vikram shares that the film will trace the rise of a gangster from his origins. "Though the film will not have any direct references to my father's Amaran, it will be along the lines of that film and Nayakan. The story will revolve around the transformation of a youngster into a gangster due to the evils in the society."

The principal shooting of the yet-to-be-titled film will begin in November, targetting a 2021 release.

The rest of the cast and crew is currently being finalised and an official announcement is expected from the makers soon.
