Actor Ravi Teja is reuniting with his Veera director Ramesh Varma for a new film, tentatively titled Khiladi. According to reports, the Amar Akbar Anthony actor will be seen playing a dual role and if sources are to be believed, actor Ritu Varma has been approached for this film.

"Ritu Varma has been approached to play the female lead in this film. The makers had narrated the plotline to her and Ritu, who is keen to do some versatile roles, is pleased with both her character and the story. However, she is yet to give her nod as she is busy with a couple of films," says a source.

It is also learned that actor Seerat Kapoor, who worked with Ravi in Touch Chesi Chudu (2018), has been approached for the other lead's role.

Last seen in Keshava (2017), Ritu Varma is currently working on Tuck Jagadish, which stars her opposite Nani. She also has an untitled film each with Naga Shaurya and Sharwanand. In addition, Ritu is part of Gautham Vasudev Menon's long-delayed Dhruva Natchathiram as well.
