CE Features

Vishal and Arya are teaming up for an upcoming film by director Anand Shankar. The Iru Mugan director confirmed this on Twitter. “As we get back to work, I’m glad and powered up to share with you that Vishal 30/Arya 32 is going to be Anand Shankar 4. Official announcement of the multi-starrer will be made by our producer,” he tweeted.

It is being speculated that Super Deluxe-fame Mrinaalini Ravi has been paired opposite Vishal in the film, while Arya will play the antagonist. The film will go on floors soon, adhering to the restrictions in place due to the pandemic.

Vishal and Arya had earlier played the leads in Bala’s 2011 comedy Avan Ivan. Vishal had also appeared in a cameo in Arya-Rajesh’s Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga.

Vishal is currently awaiting the release of Chakra, which is speculated to be a digital release. The actor also has his debut directorial Thupparivaalan 2 in the pipeline.

Arya, on the other hand, has Shakti Soundar Rajan’s Teddy and Pa Ranjith’s Salpetta in his kitty.
