After shooting for Bell Bottom, Akshay Kumar has now started filming for the upcoming historical Prithviraj. Reports suggest that the crew has begun filming at YRF studios, and Sonu Sood is also part of this schedule. 

Prithviraj also features Sanjay Dutt and Manushi Chillar in key roles. While Manushi is reported to join the sets on October 13, Sanjay will begin shooting post-Diwali.  

Produced by Yash Raj Films, Prithviraj is the biopic of ruler Prithviraj Chauhan who belonged to the Chahamanas dynasty.   

Akshay Kumar recently completed shooting for Bell Bottom in London. It was one of the first Bollywood projects to resume production after the coronavirus pandemic. 

The Kesari actor will next be seen in Raghavan Lawrence's Laxmmi Bomb, which will begin streaming on Disney Hotstar+ on November 19. The film is a remake of Lawrence's Tamil film, Kanchana.
