Allison Williams, Blumhouse reunite for M3GAN

Get Out-fame Allison Williams is joining hands with the film's studio, Blumhouse, once again for the upcoming horror thriller M3GAN

Gerard Johnstone will direct the film, which has a script written by Akela Cooper, based on a story by Aquaman filmmaker James Wan. The project will be produced by Blumhouse and Wan's Atomic Monster.

Williams will be playing the role of Gemma, an intelligent roboticist at a toy company. She employs artificial intelligence to develop M3GAN, a life-like doll programmed to be a kid's companion and a parent's friend. After unexpectedly gaining custody of her orphaned niece, Gemma gets the help of the M3GAN prototype, a decision that has unforeseen consequences.

Williams will also serve as an executive producer alongside Michael Clear, Judson Scott and Ryan Turek.
