Bigg Boss 14 has stirred up trouble as netizens are trending #BoycottBB14 on Twitter. The new season of the Salman Khan-hosted show, which premiered on October 3, has been criticised for objectifying its female contestants.

The criticism is aimed at a new task where the girls of the house Pavitra Punia, Nikki Tamboli, Jasmin Bhasin and Rubina Dilaik – are asked to seduce Sidharth Shukla in a dance. The promo of the task was posted on the official handle of Bigg Boss 14

“#BoycottBB14 Shame on you Colors TV thinking that audience is cheap, playing with emotions and objectifying women,” a user wrote.

Another tweeted, “Do you like if a girl is sitting and four boys seduce her?? What is this nonsense?? Stop these tasks.”

The new episode of Bigg Boss 14 will be aired tonight at 10.30 pm on Colors TV. The show is also streaming on Voot Select.
