The teaser for Akshay Kumar-starrer Bellbottom is out. Directed by Ranjit B Tiwari, the espionage thriller is set for release on April 2, 2021. The film also stars Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi. 

The 30-second teaser features Akshay –  in smooth navy bell-bottoms and suit – strutting his way toward a plane. There are shots of the actor at a massive air hanger, revealing the aviation-world backdrop of the film. Later, we see Akshay hanging off a tanker truck, recalling his heyday as Bollywood’s acest stuntman. 

Bellbottom was among the first films to resume production in a foreign location post the lockdown. The film was shot in the UK following standard guidelines. “Shot in the highlands of Scotland, Pooja Entertainment’s Bellbottom has Akshay Kumar in the lead playing a RAW agent on the trail of a mystery and the film's retro theme brings back the eighties,” the makers shared.
