Sushant Singh Rajput’s death was a suicide and not murder, a panel of doctors at AIIMS, Delhi has reportedly told the CBI. The AIIMS panel has concurred with the autopsy reports conducted by the Mumbai hospital and submitted its medico-legal opinion on the case, a report by NDTV states. The panel, thus, has ruled out theories of strangling and poisoning doing the rounds. The CBI, however, is likely to continue its probe into the "abetment to suicide" allegations as listed by the Bihar Police, the report cited sources as saying.

Sushant died at his Bandra home on June 14. The actor’s untimely demise at 34 was met with widespread speculation and allegations. A concurrent probe into the alleged ‘drug angle’ in the case is being led by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
