We had reported earlier that debutant Malayali filmmaker Dr Pragabhal is coming up with India's first 4x4 off-road racing film, Muddy. The film is in the final stages of production and is expected to get a release soon.

The makers have informed that Muddy, which explores mud racing, a form of off-road motorsport, will be a multilingual release. A teaser will be out soon. It is bankrolled by Prema Krishnadas under the banner of PK7 Creations.

Muddy features newcomers along with established Malayalam actors like Renji Panicker, Hareesh Peradi, football legend IM Vijayan, Guinness Manoj, and Bineesh Bastin.

Pragabal and team spent five years on the production of Muddy. As per the makers, the principal actors spent two years for real-time training in mud racing and carried out risky stunts without the help of doubles during the shoot.

The film’s technical crew includes KGF-fame Ravi Basrur for music, Ratsasan-fame San Lokesh for editing, and KG Ratheesh for cinematography.
