George Clooney to deliver talk at BFI London Film Festival

64th edition of the BFI London Film Festival commences on October 7. This is the first edition of the festival which will be accessible online worldwide. The festival’s special series of free talks titled Screen Talks will feature actor, filmmaker and producer George Clooney.

Clooney will reflect on his oeuvre and discuss his upcoming film, The Midnight Sky. Clooney directs, produces and stars in The Midnight Sky, a sci-fi film based on Lily-Brooks Dalton’s novel, Good Morning, Midnight.

Other film personalities delivering talks at BFI include actor Riz Ahmed, filmmakers Miranda July, Christian Petzold, Michel Franco, and Tsai Ming-liang.

BFI London Film Festival’s newly launched LFF Expanded screen talk will exclusively feature London-based artist and designer ES Devlin.

Clooney’s talk is scheduled for October 18, on the closing day of the fest.

Clooney’s The Midnight Sky is expected to be released later this year.
