CE Features

Rakul Preet, who recently completed shooting for director Krish's upcoming film, co-starring Vaishnav Tej, is rumoured to be part of the Mohan Babu-starrer Son of India. The film is directed by debutant Diamond Ratnababu, who has previously penned the dialogues for Gayatri, Luck Unnodu, Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam, Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham and Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda. It went on floors in October and the second schedule began today.

Son of India, bankrolled by Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures in association with 24 Frames Factory, has music by Ilaiyaraaja. It has been reported that Mohan Babu's character will be different from the ones he has played so far.

Mohan Babu was last seen in Suriya-Sudha Kongara's Aakasam Nee Haddura (Soorarai Pottru). Rakul, on the other hand, has films like Sivakarthikeyan's Ayalaan in Tamil and Mayday in Hindi, in different stages of production.
