It is known that Suriya will be teaming up again with director Gautham Vasudev Menon for an upcoming project. Now, it looks like the actor-duo have begun work on the project. PC Sreeram, who is in charge of cinematography, has confirmed the same.  The veteran cinematographer has also revealed that the project is a web-film. “Shooting for Gautham Menon — it's a web film starring Suriya. Great energy on sets today,” he tweeted.

As the trio is known to be part of Navarasa, an anthology produced by Mani Ratnam and Jayendra Panchapakesan for Netflix, it is likely that this could be the project PC Sreeram is referring to.

Apart from GVM, Karthik Subbaraj, Bejoy Nambiar, Karthick Naren, KV Anand, Ponram, Rathindran Prasad, and Halitha Shameem will be helming different segments of the anthology. Actor Aravind Swami will be making his directorial debut with Navarasa as well.

PC Sreeram recently worked with Gautham on his short in Amazon’s anthology, Putham Pudhu Kaalai.
