Megastar Chiranjeevi has tested positive for coronavirus. He revealed this information on his personal social media accounts today. 

"Took a test for Covid-19 before resuming (period drama) Acharya's shoot as a protocol and unfortunately tested positive. Request all those who met me in the last few days to also undergo Covid tests. Will update on my recovery soon," said Chiranjeevi.

The Sye Raa star is asymptomatic at present and is in self-quarantine at his Hyderabad home. 

Many industry colleagues, his family, and scores of fans took to social media to share their goodwill and prayers for his speedy recovery.
