Netflix has shut down the production of The Witcher Season 2 after multiple crew members tested positive for COVID-19.

The Henry Cavill series is an adaptation of The Witcher books and video games, and the much-anticipated first season arrived on Netflix in 2019. Post the success of Season 1, the show was renewed for Season 2, which was due to come out in 2021.

Filming of the series was halted earlier this year due to the pandemic, and now, Deadline has reported that the production has been put on hold again as four people associated with the series tested positive for COVID-19. The crew members have been isolated and another round of testing will be done.

There is no information as to when the production will resume.
