Samsaram Adhu Minsaram 2, the late actor-filmmaker Visu's ambitious project, will soon be realised by his long-term assistant VL Bhaskar Raj.

With story, screenplay, and dialogues by Visu himself, the makers are in talks with actor Rajkiran to play a pivotal role in the film. Official confirmation about the cast is yet to come. 

The story is said to be a spiritual sequel to Visu's National Award-winning  1986 film and will revolve around yet another samsaram (wife) who is minsaram (electric). In a statement, Bhaskar Raj said, "This sequel will be a film that appeals to all sections of the audience, and will bring kids, parents, elders, and youngsters to the theatres." 

Interestingly, Samsaram Adhu Minsaram 2 will have additional dialogues written by Visu's daughter, Lavanya. 

The technical crew of the film includes music director Bharadwaj, lyricist Pa Vijay, cinematographer Rajvel Mohan, editor Suresh Urs, and art director Vanaraj. 

The project is set to be bankrolled by Makkal Arasan Pictures.
