Chiranjeevi and Koratala Siva have started working on their socio-political entertainer titled Acharya. The film's shooting was halted midway due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The makers are now planning to resume production on November 9 with a month-long schedule being planned in Hyderabad.

"Major portions of the film will be shot in this schedule with Chiranjeevi and the other principal cast. The team has been taking care of safety precautions to ensure seamless completion of work," says a source from the production team.

Produced by Konidela Productions in association with Matinee Entertainment, Acharya has Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead. The film's music is composed by Mani Sharma.
