The team behind the famous Tamil YouTube channel Black Sheep has started its own OTT platform, named BS Value. The platform, which is the first one to be started by a YouTube channel, will feature only Tamil content.

BS Value currently has yesteryear classics such as Thalapathy, Mouna Ragam, Ninaithale Innikkum, Billa, and Nayagan, as well as original Black Sheep content that includes more than a hundred video playlists and five web series. Interestingly, the content in BS Value is said to be family-friendly and will not feature any scenes involving smoking, alcohol, or sex.

The platform is the first brand to be launched in space using a balloon satellite. To commemorate the launch, the team of Black Sheep is attempting a 110-hour continuous live series that has been running since Monday. Many actors, such as Sivakarthikeyan, and political personalities have been a part of this program.

Apart from this, the team is also planning the first public investment forest by a YouTube channel. Named Black Sheep Forest, they are planning to plant 1,10,000 trees covering an area of 20 acres in Oragadam, Chennai. Those who sign up for a membership, priced at Rs 590, will also get a tree named after them.
