Writer-director Nithin Thomas Kurisingal's Russia is gearing up for an OTT release. Starring Roopesh Peethambaran, the film is based on a real incident that occurred in Russia. The makers have released the first-look poster.

Produced by Meharali Poilungal Ismail and Romson Thomas Kurisingal, the film addresses the internal conflict of insomniacs. Roopesh, who has appeared in Oru Mexican Aparatha and Spadikam, essays the main character. He has also directed the films, You Too Brutus and Theevram.

Gopika Anil, Arya Manikandan, Meharali Poilungal Ismail are also part of the cast of Russia. The team includes choreographer Sreejith and model Arun Sunny.
