The Tamil Nadu government has announced further relaxation for shooting televisions shows in the state. According to a statement, from May 31, shooting for television shows can resume with a maximum of 60 people on the spot.

The government had earlier granted permission to resume indoor shooting for television shows with a maximum of 20 people. Several precautionary measures such as sanitising hands, wearing masks, temperature screening, and disinfecting vehicles and premises have also been advised to be strictly followed.

The Covid-19 outbreak and consequent lockdowns severely affected shooting and production works across the entertainment industry. Following consecutive demands for relaxations as daily wagers in the industry have lost their source of livelihood, restrictions are now slowly being eased.
