In view of World Hunger Day (May 28), actor Raveena Tandon has joined hands with The Akshaya Patra Foundation for 'Know Hunger', an initiative which will help feed millions of children and their families across India. Several underprivileged kids continue to battle hunger and inadequate nutrition caused by the COVID-19. Raveena, who had previously participated in several fundraisers, has shown her solid support by becoming a part of a special digital show for a leading entertainment channel. Present as one of the guests, the actor aims to inspire others Indians to contribute.

"It really breaks my heart to learn and accept the fact that there are millions of Indians who aren't as privileged like some of us,” Raveena shared. “They don't have a family, a house to live and something as basic as everyday meals. I feel it's everyone's responsibility to do as much as possible in their own capacity. I've always believed in supporting whoever is in need of help, as a citizen of India, I feel it's my duty to do the same."

Recently, Raveena had collaborated with 115 artists for the Guzar Jayega music video, narrated by Amitabh Bachchan. The song has been submitted for The Guinness World Records and The Limca Book of Records.
