Cate Blanchett is on a project-signing spree. We recently reported that Blanchett has been roped in for two films: James Gray’s upcoming Armageddon Time and Adam McKay’s Don’t Look Up. Now, it is officially confirmed that the she is also part of Eli Roth's Borderlands.

The film is Lionsgate's adaptation of the Borderlands video game. It marks the second collaboration of Cate Blanchett and Eli Roth, who earlier worked together in the film The House With a Clock in Its Walls.

Variety quoted Eli Roth as saying, "I’m so lucky to have the amazing Cate Blanchett starring in Borderlands. We had the most incredible collaboration together on The House With a Clock in Its Walls, and I believe there’s nothing she can’t do."

Other than the three projects, Blanchett is also playing the lead in Mrs. America, which is streaming on Disney+Hotstar.
