Mahesh Babu's upcoming film, SSMB 27, directed by Parasuram, has been titled Sarkar Vaari Paata, says a source.

"After a lot of brainstorming, the team unanimously liked Sarkar Vaari Paata as the working title. It is a catchy title that is under consideration and an official announcement is expected to be out on May 31, coinciding with veteran actor Krishna's birthday," reveals the source.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and 14 Reels production in association with GMB Entertainment, the film is touted to be a family-action drama on the lines of Mahesh's earlier hits — Dookudu and Sarileru Neekevvaru.

While the makers plan to announce the cast and crew of the film soon, it is learned that actor Kiara Advani, who earlier shared screen space with Mahesh in Bharat Ane Nenu, has been offered the female lead's role.

The film's regular shooting will commence soon after the Covid-19 lockdown is lifted. Rumour has that SS Thaman, with whom Mahesh worked in films such as Dookudu, Businessman, and Aagadu, has been brought in to compose the music, while PS Vinod has been roped in as the cinematographer.
