Yogi Babu, who was having the busiest year in his career before the lockdown, will apparently work in Pa Ranjith's next production venture. While the cast and crew details have not been announced yet, sources state that the comedian will be playing the lead in the film. Interestingly, the actor was also part of Ranjith's first production venture, Pariyerum Perumal. 

Earlier, it was announced that Pa Ranjith will be producing five Tamil films under his banner, Neelam Productions, in collaboration with Golden Ratio Films and Little Red Car. While it is unclear which film will star Yogi Babu in the lead, directors Lenin Bharathi, Mari Selvaraj, Akiran Moses, Franklin Jacob, and Suresh Mari, have been announced as the directors of these five projects. 

Meanwhile, Yogi Babu has a slew of releases such as Adangathey, Panni Kutty and Mandela in the pipeline. Ranjith's next directorial, on the other hand, will be the Arya-starrer, Salpetta.
